Starsand Island startet auf PC und XBox

Ab sofort könnt ihr Starsand Island als Early Access-Version spielen und zwar auf PC (Steam), Xbox Preview und via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Richardo Wang, Creative Director at Seed Lab, said: “Starsand Island was created as a place for players to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with a gentler rhythm of life. As players begin their journeys on the island, we hope they find moments that feel personal and healing, whether that’s forming bonds with neighbors or simply watching the seasons change. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to grow Starsand Island together with our community throughout Early Access and beyond full launch.”

Goltan Gao, Technical Director at Seed Lab, added: “Early Access is an important milestone for us because Starsand Island has always been designed as a living, evolving world; our goal has been to build a foundation that feels responsive, warm, and deeply human. Releasing in Early Access means we can refine these systems alongside players, learning from how they live on the island and what moments resonate most. We see this phase as a process of co-creation, where player feedback helps us continue polishing the technical details that support a truly immersive and comforting pastoral experience.”

Richardo Wang, Creative Director, Seed Lab said: “Bringing Starsand Island to Nintendo Switch 2 has been a longstanding goal for us; the life-sim genre has a natural home on Nintendo consoles. Even before it was announced nearly a year ago, we knew – and wanted – our game to be on Nintendo’s next-generation platform. Starsand Island transports players to a simple, pastoral life, and we think that should be available whether they’re at home, commuting to and from work, or taking a break.”
