Baykal Arts wird eine Demo-Version zu Ashen Knights: Foreshadow veröffentlichen. Ab dem 06. Februar ist das Hack & Slash auf dem PC via Steam spielbar. Gespielt werden kan bis zum Ende des Steam Next Fest am 13. Februar 2023.
Deniz Baykal, the game producer, and lead game designer, puts it: “Narratively, the demo is a standalone story, set in a grim world of Ashen Knights. It feels like a peculiar nightmare, a mix of fragmented memories, images, and hallucinations. At the same time, through hints, allusions, and references, we shed some light on the complicated nature of Primos and Evelin’s relationships, their feelings, fears, and regrets. On the surface, it looks like a dream of Evelin, but in reality… well, you’ll have to play to find out”.

Der Indie-Entwickler Baykal Arts hat ein Gameplay-Video zu Ashen Knights: Foreshadow auf der Tokyo Game Show 2022 veröffentlicht. Im Mittelpunkt des Trailers stehen die zwei Helden, die die zwei Spielstile aufzeigen, eben das klassische Hack & Slah oder die Soulslike-Variante.
Das „Hack & Slash mit Soulslike-Elementen“ wird auf dem PC via Steam und für die Konsolen XBox Series X|S, XBox One Nintendo Switch, PS4 und PS5 im ersten Halbjahr 2023 erscheinen. Noch 2022 soll eine Demo-Version namens Ashen Knights: One Passage auf Steam zum kostenlosen Download angeboten werden.
