Tribetoy und Beep Games haben den Launch-Trailer zu Bartlow’s Dread Machine veröffentlicht. Das Spiel ist ab sofort als Vollversion auf dem PC via Steam und für XBox One erhältlich.

“We wanted to create something we haven’t seen before and realized there was little overlap between early 20th century arcade cabinets and video games, as the latter essentially replaced the former, so we wanted to essentially combine the two,” said Matthew Hoseterey Co-Founder and Director of Design at Tribetoy. “Bartlow’s Dread Machine maintains the aesthetic and tone of the former, while instilling it with the buttery smooth gameplay and advanced design of the latter—the result being something utterly original. We can’t wait for players to discover it for themselves on Steam and Xbox!”

Das September-Update
Tribetoy und Beep Games haben den vollständigen Release von Bartlow’s Dread Machine fixiert. Am 29. September verlässt das Spiel den Early Access und erscheint dann via Steam und XBox One.
Außerdem wurde das September-Update veröffentlicht welches ein neues Kapitel (The Canal Zone) hinzufügt und zwei neue spielbare Charaktere (Mary Fields und Nicola Tesla).

Tribetoy und Beep Games haben das August-Update für ihren Arcade-Shooter Bartlow’s Dread Machine veröffentlicht. Start in den Early Access
Tribetoy und Beep Games haben ihren Arcade-Shooter Bartlow’s Dread Machine in den Early Access (Steam) entlassen. Die Vollversion wird noch diesen Herbst auf den PC und der XBox One erscheinen.
Darum geht es:
Bartlow’s Dread Machine kann sowohl alleine als auch im Koop-Modus gespielt werden. Wir bereisen die USA, unter anderem New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C. und einen Dschungel. Unsere Aufgabe ist es den entführten Präsidenten Roosevelt zu retten. Dazu müssen wir die fiesen Anarcho-Satanisten bezwingen.
In der Early Access-Fassung sind drei der insgesamt sechs Kapitel spielbar.

“As much as we love video games, we’re also admirers of old analogue tech, particularly the clockwork precision of early 20th century arcade games, so we wanted to combine the rinky-dink charm of these rustic cabinets with the smooth gameplay of contemporary titles,” said Matthew Hoseterey Co-Founder and Director of Design of Tribetoy. “Bartlow’s Dread Machine transports us back to this wild time at the dawn of the Electric Age, when technology and entertainment were evolving so fast that the world quickly became almost unrecognizable.
