Der Entwickler AutoExec Games hat die Vollversion von Timemelters veröffentlicht. Version 1.0 ist ab sofort auf dem PC via Steam verfügbar. Die Varianten für XBox Series X|S und PS5 werden noch in 2024 folgen. Passend zum Start wurde natürlich ein frischen Launch-Trailer veröffentlicht – wir wünschen actionreiche Unterhaltung.
“Back in the day, PC owners would need to enter a command line, c:\autoexec.bat, to boot up their games,” says Vincent Blanchard, CEO at AutoExec Games. “Our studio was named after the sense of marvel we felt after entering that command line and sinking into classics like Diablo and King’s Quest for the first time. These were titles that revolutionized entire genres with their fresh, captivating gameplay. We crafted TimeMelters over the course of five years as an attempt to recapture the same awe we experienced way back then, as well as offer veteran gamers something new, challenging, and fun to chew on. We hope they have just as much fun playing TimeMelters as we had creating it, and look forward to bringing this time-twisting adventure to consoles later in 2024.”

Fixierter Full Release und Konsolenversion angekündigt
AutoExec Games hat den Release der Vollversion zu Timemelters fixiert. Version 1.0 erscheint somit am 28. Februar 2024 auf dem PC via Steam. Später in 2024 werden dann auch noch Umsetzungen für XBox Series X|S und PS5 folgen. Neu hinzukommen unter anderem: frische Missionen, Kampagnen für Solisten und für den Koop-Modus und mehr. Das Spiel unterstützt auch den „Friend Pass“. Heißt das Ding muss nur von einem Spieler gekauft werden und der zweite kann kostenlos mitspielen.
“Call us old-fashioned, but our humble studio of three believes gameplay is king,” says Vincent Blanchard, CEO at AutoExec Games. “When we started working on TimeMelters five years ago, we wanted to craft an innovative title that evoked the same sense of wonder we experienced when discovering classics like Ogre Battle, Dune, Dark Omen and Quest For Glory. To get there, we created something entirely new, with never-before-seen mechanics and game rules. We can’t wait for players to enjoy TimeMelters to the fullest with its Version 1.0 launch later this month, and with the game’s console release later this year.”

Timemelters von AutoExec Games befindet sich aktuell im Early Access-Status auf dem PC via Steam. Der Full Release ist laut Entwickler nicht mehr weit entfernt, da es nahezu fertigentwickelt ist. Damit ihr seht was euch in dem Spiel erwartet, kommt hier nun ein neuer Gameplay-Trailer.
Kickstarter-Kampagne ein voller Erfolg
Die Kickstarter-Kampagne zu Timemelters ist beziehungsweise war ein voller Erfolg. Das Ziel wurde erreicht und sogar übertroffen, das sagt ein gerührter Chef dazu:

Demo-Version veröffentlicht
Der Entwickler Autoexec Games hat eine Demo-Version zu ihrem Hardcore-Strategie-Hybrid Timemelters veröffentlicht. Spielbar ist das Ganze auf dem PC via Steam.
“Timemelters is an ambitious genre hybrid full of unique powers that merge time travel, spellcasting, tower defense, and all out action,” said Autoexec Founder and CEO Vincent Blanchard. “It’s a lot to wrap your head around, so I wanted to make a demo that gently walks players through its ins and outs. My hope is that once people try it for themselves, they’ll understand just how much fun it is. And if they pledge to its Kickstarter, that would be great too!”

Der Entwickler Autoexec Games hat eine Kickstarter-Kampagne zu Timemelters gestartet um zusätzliche Unterstützung zu generieren und um mehr Features in ihr Spiel integrieren zu können. Außerdem kann das Spiel ab sofort via Steam auf eure Wunschliste gepflanzt werden. Die Early Access-Phase soll letztlich noch 2021 starten.
Das wird geboten:
Das actionreiche Strategiespiel bietet eine Kampagne mit rund 20 Missionen die sowohl alleine als auch im Koop-Modus gespielt werden können. Als Vorlage für die Spielwelt dient Schottland aus dem 16ten Jahrhundert. Wir schlüpfen dabei in die Rolle einer Hexe namens Teagan und sollen den Aufstand der Untoten zurückschlagen.
Timemelters befindet sich seit drei Jahren in der Entwicklung. Aktuell ist rund 85% der Kampagne fertiggestellt. Warum also eine Kickstarter-Kampagne? Ganz einfach; die Entwickler möchten weitere Charaktere, einen „Challenge Modus“, Sprachausgabe, Controllersupport, weitere Sprachen und letztlich auch eine Konsolenversion anbieten können.
