Die Road Studios und Feel Good Games bereiten einen offenen Playtest für Road Truckers: New Beginning vor. Wann genau gestartet wird ist aktuell leider noch nicht bekannt. Nach dem offenen Spieltest soll dann eine Demo-Version erscheinen. Das komplette Spieldesign steht unter dem Motto: „Du bist der LKW-Fahrer, nicht der LKW.“
Road Truckers: New Beginning soll im zweiten Quartal 2026 auf PC (Steam) und PS5 erscheinen.
„Our maps are massive. We have two in the game, and want to add more in the game’s life cycle. The first one, smaller than the second but still huge, will be fully available in the playtest – and it’s just a fraction of the roads you’ll find in the full game,“ says Michal Puczynski, creative director of the project.
„We need to teach the player how to drive, how to maintain the truck, how to eat, sleep, cure diseases, upgrade the base, use the workshops, find help when stranded, etc. Player onboarding is a big task, and we hope that players will help us make it the best it can be.“
