With LEGEND BOWL’s launch across console platforms, Top Hat Studios, Inc. Executive Producer Andy Andi Han had the the following comment to offer: „LEGEND BOWL has probably been one of the most challenging games we’ve ever ported, adapted, and optimised for a console release. As a simulator with a huge amount of complexity under the hood, and so many different moving parts, the amount of work it needed is quite definitely deceiving for what looks like a 2d pixel art game. Our team has done incredible work in not just getting the game to work, but work well, and at the end of it all, the project required over 7 million lines of code, split across 2 console generations, and 5 different devices. We’re proud of what we achieved – there really is no in-depth football gaming experience like LEGEND BOWL, and every single ounce of sweat was worth it.“

Commenting on the confirmation of LEGEND BOWL’s release date for console, Top Hat Studios, Inc. Executive Producer Andy Andi Han said the following: „LEGEND BOWL has been one tough nut to crack. People think of pixel art and retro games as being things from an era where hardware power was limited, so shouldn’t pose a problem today, but in the end the game took a monumental amount of work – totalling over 7 million lines of code to get it working and optimized on console, almost all of it contributed by our company CEO, Joseph Brown. There’s been a lot of anticipation for LEGEND BOWL and we appreciate everyone’s patience while we got the game into a good state, and we’re pleased that people will be experiencing it soon“.

Konsolenumsetzung angekündigt
Super Pixel Games und die Top Hat Studios haben eine Konsolen-Umsetzung von Legend Bowl angekündigt. Das Retro-Football-Spiel wird für XBox Series X|S, XBox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 und PS5 erscheinen. Wer darauf nicht warten möchte kann sich den Titel auf dem PC via Steam sofort gönnen. In jedem Fall können wir uns einen Coach erstellen oder wir wählen einen vorhandenen um mit ihm die Meisterschaft zu gewinnen. Insgesamt gibt es 32 Teams, die sich in siebzehn Wochen miteinander messen.
