Wie der Publisher Kalypso Media bekanntgegeben hat wird ab sofort der Entwickler „Realmforge Studios“ – bekannt für die Dungeons-Serie – für die Tropico-Reihe verantwortlich sein. Der Entwickler feiert sein Debüt mit dem kommenden DLC „Caribbean Skies“ für Tropico 6. Die Erweiterung erscheint am 16. Dezember 2020 für PC, XBox One uns PS4.
