Die Triheart Studios und Yogscast Games haben Version 1.0 von ihrem Roguelike Golfie veröffentlicht. Die größte Neuerung zum Start des Full Release ist der Multiplayer-Modus. In dem können wir uns, maximal zu acht, gegen andere Spieler messen. Außerdem ist das Spiel nun auch für das Steam Deck verfügbar.

Fixierter Early Access-Start
Die Triheart Studios und der Publisher Yogscast Games haben den Release von Golfie fixiert. Der Titel startet somit am 26. Mai 2022 auf dem PC via Steam in den Early Access.

“Golfie is unlike any golf or deckbuilding game you have ever played,” says Simon Byron, Director of Publishing, Yogscast Games. “It’s been a real pleasure working with Triheart Studio to create something so uniquely enjoyable that it defies comparison. Some of the shot combinations during the public playtests have been eye-poppingly joyful – elements of skill and chance combining to create nothing you’ve seen in a golf game before. I’m really, really looking forward to seeing what players can do when the game launches in a couple of weeks.
Öffentlicher Spieltest gestartet
Die Triheart Studios werden einen öffentlichen Spieltest für ihr Sammelkarten-Roguelike-Minigolf-Spiel Golfie abhalten. Gestartet wird heute auf dem PC via Steam. Der Playtest selbst endet am 18. April 2022. Im zweiten Quartal, nachdem das Feedback verarbeitet wurde, wird der Titel in den Early Access starten. Bei diesem Test sind 10 Karten, 18 bespielbare Plätze und unterschiedliche Biome mit dabei.

“Whilst it may seem an unusual clash of genres, deckbuilding and mini golf actually perfectly complement each other,” says Sandra Lynggaard Fagerli, co-founder, Triheart Studios. “When we first toyed with a prototype, it was immediately apparent that we had something very special and very playable on our hands – and building upon that core idea every day has been a genuine joy.”
