„Robots Of Lux“-DLC angekündigt

Maschinen-Mensch und Thunderful haben mit „Robots of Lux“ ein neues DLC für Curious Expedition 2 angekündigt. Durch eine Kollaboration mit SteamWorld Heist stammen die neuen Charaktere (Captain Piper Faraday und der Naturalist) aus diesem Universum. Außerdem neu mit dabei eine neue Location in Paris, neue ausrüstbare Gegenstände und rekrutierbare Charaktere. Alles verfügbar sowohl in der Kampagne als auch im freien Spiel.

Entwickler Maschinen-Mensch und der Publisher Thunderful haben das zweite DLC namens „Shores of Taishi“ für Curious Expedition 2 angekündigt. Erscheinen wird die Erweiterung für das Roguelike-Strategiespiel am 19. Mai 2022 für PC und sämtliche Konsolen. Mit dabei sind ein neuer Inseltyp, sechs frische rekrutierbare Figuren, sechs zusätzliche Ausrüstungsgegenstände und vieles mehr.

Entwickler Maschinen-Mensch und der Publisher Thunderful werden Curious Expedition 2 am 17. März 2022 für XBox One und PS4 veröffentlichen. Das Spiel selbst ist auch auf XBox Series X|S und PS5 spielbar.

Mit dabei sind unter anderem: eine neue Insel, neue rekrutierbare Helden, vier neue Feinde, zusätzlicher Loot und mehr.

Thunderful Publishing und der Entwickler Maschinen-Mensch haben Curious Expedition 2 nun auch für die Nintendo Switch veröffentlicht. Mit dabei natürlich sämtliche Updates der PC-Version.

Content Update „The New Director“ veröffentlicht

Der Entwickler Maschinen-Mensch hat ein kostenloses Content Update namens „The New Director“ für Curious Expedition 2 veröffentlicht. Das Update fügt folgendes hinzu:

• „Director Mode“
• Ein neues Biom „The Corrupted Portal Worlds“
• Pale Masks Tribe

Der „Director Mode“ wird nach dem Abschluss des Hauptspiels freigeschaltet. In einem bestimmten zeitlichen Rahmen (1 Jahr), werden unterschiedliche Modifikationen hinzugefügt die unsere Reise noch herausfordernder machen.

“Right after finishing working on Crusader Kings III, I joined the team at Maschinen-Mensch to help design post-release content for Curious Expedition 2,” said Petter Vilberg, Game Designer at Maschinen-Mensch. “We’ve been hard at work on Director Mode for some time now, and it’s been really fun to see how it keeps providing new challenges, even for seasoned players! Having to choose your own difficulty modifiers emphasises the strategic aspects of the game, and makes the way you build your trek much more important.”

Thunderful Publishing und der Entwickler Maschinen-Mensch werden Curious Expedition 2 am 28. Januar 2021 als Vollversion auf dem PC via Steam veröffentlichen. Neben den Konsolenversionen für Nintendo Switch, XBox und Playstation sind auch zusätzliche Inhalte für 2021 geplant.

Ankündigung des Full Release

Das Roguelike-Abentuer Curious Expedition 2 wird Anfang 2021 den Early Access verlassen und als Vollversion erscheinen. Später im Jahr sind auch Umsetzungen für XBox One, Nintendo Switch und PS4 angedacht. Der Titel von Maschinen-Mensch und Thunderful Publishing wird 19,99€ kosten.
